First Grade, First Grade!!

Ashton looked so handsome for his Kindergarten graduation. He got to sing a song with a group of about 5 kids, plus participate in all the other songs. He has really learned a lot and I am pleased to say he is ready to move to first grade. You are getting big!

God Bless the USA

I turned on my Patriotic play list for the weekend. I love these songs. There is just so much feeling and power behind them. There are no words to describe what I feel while listening, but I wanted to share this song. Every time I hear it I remember one 4th of July spent in Cloverdale with the Nelson's. I remember belting out the chorus to this song, probably 100 time, with the other kids. As I recall we were in the back of a pick up truck, which I'm sure had nothing to do with the singing *wink wink*.
We had a great time and it brings back feelings full of fun and laughter. Thanks so much for the memories guys!

Vaughn is 18 lbs 10 oz (4th%) 30" (58th%)
For some reason the pediatrition thinks he is under weight and I'm supposed to add formula into his bottle, really? He's almost 19lbs. He's fine people! Sheesh, no wonder we have a child obesity problem, do kids now need to be 50lbs before they are one? (rolls eyes)

Anyway - he is doing great. He still has only the two teeth and is super cute. He LOVES to suck on his two fingers and is now on milk. Someday we will have to start that transition from bottle to cup. Ugh. He is just so cute. I need to get pictures from his birthday on here. He devoured his cake!
